Before migrating to a new computer, please check here to make sure that the computer meets ACI’s System Requirements.
To get started, data must be backed up to either an external hard drive or cloud storage. Copying these directories/files will constitute a full ACI data backup.
** If you are unsure of your data locations, please verify where your data is by going to the Database Redirector. You can search for “ACIDataRedirector.exe” or browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Applications
(If you are in Canada and use CRAL Report Pro, you will look for CRAL32 instead of ACI32)
You will want to copy the folders listed below:
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32 \Applications\Dict.u
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32 \BackUp
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Canisters
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Configuration
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Databases
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32 \Images
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32 \MISMO
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32 \PDFS
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Picklist
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Reports
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Signatures
- \Program Files (x86)\ACI32\Templates
If you use ACI Analytics and have a custom map, the file is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ACI\eservices\Analytics\Maps.
