To export data from your MLS for ACI Analytics, first perform a property search as you normally would. Narrow down your search results to a list of properties that represent the appropriate market sample for your subject property, Click export. Most if not all MLS systems have an option for exporting property search results, you may have a button or a link that performs this action.
When prompted to choose an export format, select comma separated value (.csv) if your MLS offers an option to include column names, select this as well. ACI Analytics requires a CSV file for data import.
Make sure the following fields are included in your CSV file:
- Address (Street)
- ZIP Code
- Year Built or Age
- Sold Date
- Sold Price
- List Date
- List Price
- Site Area
- Number of Bathrooms
- Number of Garage/Carport Spaces
If you’d like data to populate the comp grid, also include:
- MLS #
- Design (Style)
- Energy Efficient Items
- Porch, Patio, Deck
Some MLS system’s default export templates may not include all of these fields. To learn how to create a custom export – contact your MLS provider. For the best results, try to include at least 50 properties or up to 2 years of data.
Open ACI Analytics (eServices > Import Analysis Data > ACI Analytics). Select Import Property Data and look for your MLS Map Provider. Don’t see your MLS listed? Email your CSV to email@example.com and we’ll map it for you.
