Yes, using ACI Research you can build a searchable database of all the properties from prior reports. Even if you haven’t used Research before, you can jump in now using data from your library of existing appraisal reports.
In order to create your property database, open ACI Research and from the Property menu select Batch Import. We recommend sorting your reports by date and selecting the first in the list then shift-click on the last to highlighting the group for import and then hit Enter. It takes a few seconds to extract the data from each report leaving the original file intact and unmodified.
Once the import is complete, use the Search functionality to either look up by address, or select a neighborhood and choose filters such as price range, design, and exterior finish. View the full comp, including thumbnail photos, and import data directly into the grid. You can even see the condition and quality ratings previously assigned to the property for comparison to new reports.
Note: If you don’t want to import a batch, you always have the option to Export properties on the existing report from the Comps menu.
There you can assign a neighborhood to better organize the properties and manage Options for duplicates and photos. You can even set up ACI Report to update your Research database automatically when you close a report. To set up Select Options > Environment > Integration and chose the option to Update Comps Database on close.
