ACI crashed again...imagine my surprise!!!

If I go to the thumbnails page and delete more than 5 or 6 pics without hitting the save Icon it will lock up and make me do it again...

Very frustrating.

It always asks if I want to send an error report...which I do every time...usually a couple a day, but I don't ever get any follow up on it...

Money well spent...not.

All four of my appraisers use ACI. I'm trying to teach them to use the Market Conditions of eServices. All computers are updated. On only one computer there is a only about 15 choices of MLS Providers. On the other 3, I have like 100 choices. What's wrong with this one ? Im mainly looking for MA-MSLPIN (which SHOULD be MLSPIN not MSLPIN)

Cost approach bottom line

Hi Andy:

Some time ago you and I communicated about programing the bottom line on the cost approach in the report forms so we could set the line to accept either aplha or numeric, in those cases where we wanted to enter N/A on the bottom line and have it "lock" in place. As it is the bottom line changes each and every time we make any kind of a change that affects the cost approach entries, including going to Apex and back for a sketch.

We had a case this week where the lender did not read the comment in the cost approach section regarding the site value. It took multiple phone calls and emails to clue the underwriter in that we HAD included a site value in the comments and not on the bottom line. Meanwhile, the UW had rejected report.

Bothersome, to say the least.

Any developments on that front???

Dose anybody associate with Quickbooks Payroll? I've notice that Quickbooks intertwines with ACI Track, and I'm kind of wondering if Quickbooks Payroll takes a burden off when it comes to taking care of invoice's and payroll for the Appraisers thank you.

Datafilling reports from Excel

Everyone,

I do a lot of prep work in excell, so much, in fact that I have everything in the excel file that will wind up in the report. I'd like to know how I can cut & paste, or import, all of that data into ACI reports so I do not have to type everything twice.

If anyone knows how to datafill ACI reports from excel, please let me know.

Even better if there is documentation somewhere that I have not yet tripped over.

PHOTOS AND SUPPLEMENTAL COMPS

I would like to know why when doing a field review or if asked to add supplemental comps, the original comps always override the supplemental comps page grid and photos. for example, if I want to do a field review and put in the oa comps and add a separate page for supplemental comps as the client request, the original comp grid will override the supplemental comps. The same is true for the photos. If you add supplemental comps and attach photos, it override the original comp photos. There is no way to have one report with both supplemental comps and original comps. This is very frustrating as we need to have one report and not two reports.

Also the land appraisal report form for the last 10 years has never been able to tally the adjustments by itself. I would like it to add and subtract the adjustments and show the correct percentage adjustments in the grid. I am having to do this manually with a calculator all the time. I have asked about this about 7 years ago and it has never been changed. Can someone see if this can be fixed.

Condo and Co-op Grid page for 1004D(Appraisal Update)

One of my clients is requesting 3 comparables to be provided with the 1004D appraisal update. I do not know how to add an individual grid page for a cooperative or condominium without adding the entire 2090 of 1073 form. As of now, I adding the entire forms to the 1004D and just PDF'ing the pages I need.

Is there a way to add an individual grid page to a report without adding the entire form?

Adding information into CSV import

This may be a feature request more than a question but when i import a CSV file for instance MLS # I would like import "MLS #<imported value>" but your import tool does not allow other characters in the import section. I understand this is not an easy change as you dont want to store the extra data in the your spreadsheet, but maybe there is a workaround.

Another example: I import Acres so "0.43" shows up in the report, I still must add "Acres in ever place".

And DOM: There is no spot for DOM on the 1004, so it must go in a different blank WITH another import, which seems impossible with the current system. exp:(<SALEDATE> DOM<###>)

This would make your MLS import tool much more functional if there was maybe a seperate comparable import tool that allows you to have place holders as to where the data gets placed, as you have with the address, at least we can arrange there.

And if nothing else please make a "half bath" section, so it appears <fullbath>/<halfbath> in the sales comparison.

Can't get Location Maps -> Receiving Windows COM Error

When I click the Location Map button, I get this error message:

I've been trying to troubleshoot it all morning, the only recent changes we've done were updates to two machines with the same license. The second machine is just a backup, we only need maps on the primary machine.

file name for color scheme

What is the file name that contains the color scheme for the screen appearance? I just started using a new computer. I have all my old files including program files on an exterior hard drive. I would like to bring over my color scheme that I have been using for many years to the new computer. I'm guessing that it is in a file that can be transferred but I don't know what I am looking for. Any help for me out there?

Error Message

I am continuing to get the following errors while typing in ACI Report.

"Error encountered while attempting to import a RIch Text formatted document Group 3 Error Code a02"

and

"An unhandled exception has occured in ACI Report. Please contact ACI. Menu creation failure. Object Windows Exception"

When each error appears this will shut down the ACI and then have problems getting the file I was working on reopened.

I have contact ACI support and no definite answer as to why I am getting these message..their only suggestion was that file size was to high or that template was corrupted. Made a new template and continue to get errors. File sizes are not high, have not changed anything that I was previously doing.

Anyone else getting these same errors or have any solutions?

1004MC doesn't auto calculate anymore

Sketch still locks up!!!

About 20-30% of the time I try to open Sketch it gives me an error but them opnes anyway. then when I try to "save" it the report locks up and I have to ctrl+alt+delete to close ADCi and the sketch is gone!!! This is very frustrating....

Has anyone gotten this error message? "An unexpected error occured. The constructor to deserialize an object of type 'RapidSketch.Rotator' was not found."

I had a large sketch drawn with multiple decks and 3 levels. I clicked to save to ACI and I got this message. The sketch totally disappeared. I tried closing and reopening ACI, but it didn't help. Then I rebooted. I can't even open up ACI sketch now. I have been having problems with large sketches or multiple levels/porches/areas, but this is the 1st time to get this message.

Software transfer to new laptop

We are currently using 3 stand alone computers in the office with a dell file server. ACI is installed on each system with the shared files on the server. Is there any way to have the wizard.wif file on the server and all computers use the same shared file instead of copying the file everytime you make a revision back to each computer?

Is there anyway to get the subject info from the sales comparison to automatically transfer over the REO addendum? Another addition would be the GLA calculator (like the sales comparison version) on the REO form.

Can't open ACI Sketch

When I click on the sketch symbol this is the pop up I get.

Could not load file or assembly "sorttbls.nlp or one if its dependencies.

The system cannot find the file specified.

On hold for tech support for 31 mins 27 secs!!! 07/05/2010

I re-downloaded ACI Sketch. It did not fix the problem.
