Our new Comp CrossCheck™ is a quick and easy way to lookup property data from prior reports. This feature, powered by ACI Research, helps you maintain consistency in your reporting. The side-by-side view allows you to see all prior records of the property and quickly assess any differences.
Here is how it works. Navigate to any field in the grid and use the CTRL+K keyboard shortcut to launch CrossCheck. Our CrossCheck will then look up the address and display if the property had been used in a previous report. Click on a search result to display your current report data vs what is saved to the database. A red highlight is applied to indicate any inconsistencies in the data. Once you review the findings, you can Close the window or Import from the database, overwriting the current report data.
CrossCheck can also serve as a handy property lookup tool. The search function accepts a full or partial address and will provide a list of any matching records. Perfect for looking through condo records or homes on the same street. Find the one you want and import the data saving a ton of time rekeying.
Even if you haven’t used ACI Research before, you can get started right away using our batch import to grab property data from prior reports. Be sure to turn on the automatic update so that new reports feed into the same database too. There are new options for duplicate checking, so that you can keep separate property records per report or per appraiser.
To start using this feature today, run WebUpdate with the special update ID CompCheck.
The CrossCheck feature completes Phase 2 of our CU preparedness plan. The third phase is already underway, and includes an analytics piece that will allow you to analyze and interact with a pool of property data. We know that many of you are very interested in adding these tools and we will keep you posted as they become available.
